Mandy Patinkin (born November 30, 1952), is an American actor and singer.

Born Mandel Bruce Patinkin in Chicago, Illinois. Attended Kenwood High School and University of Kansas. On Broadway, he played Che Guevara in Evita and a leading role in Stephen Sondheim's Follies.

Married Kathryn Grody in 1980; two sons, Isaac and Gideon.
